Serengeti National Park

Serengeti was the first national park to be created in Tanzania and is the world’s largest national park. The average altitude is well over 5,000 feet, so the climate is very pleasant for most of the year.
The main attraction of the Serengeti is the astounding numbers of herbivores and their predators that congregate on the southeastern short-grass plains between mid-December and the end of May, where they are very visible and accessible. Five hundred species of birds have been recorded in this park.
The amazing sight of over a million wild animals grazing peacefully in their natural domain cannot be described adequately in print or on film - you will just have to come and see it for yourself.
